LENGTH OF VISIT Plan at least several hours to begin to discover the beauty of Storm King.
PICNICS & FOOD Eat, drink, and relax under a shady tree or at a table table in the designated picnic areas. Please, no cooking and no smoking. Drinks and snacks are available from vending machines. NEW THIS SEASON Woody's Cafe at Storm King. Beverages, light lunch, and snacks will be available for purchase on weekends and Holiday Mondays until 5pm. Click here for a sample menu.
TOURS
- Highlights of the Collection Tours Docent-guided walking tours. Museum Hill tour given daily, please see homepage for schedule. Other Highlights tours include the North Woods and Alexander Liberman and the Sculpture of the 70's. Free with admission. Tour length: 45 minutes - 1 hour
- Trams Handicapped-accessible trams run continuously throughout the day leaving from the base of the elevator beginning at 11:00am. Feel free to disembark, walk, and re-board at designated points along the way. Free with admission.
- Acoustiguide tours Enjoy a leisurely audio tour at your own pace with commentary from the Chairman & President, Director & Curator, and some of the artists themselves. The units are available for rent in the museum gift shop. Rental fees are $4.00 for members and $5.00 for non-members.

GROUP VISITS Admission is discounted for educational, cultural, and community groups of 15 or more with advance reservations. A docent guided walking tour is included free with admission. To receive reduced admission, reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance and groups are required to arrive together in a bus or van. Please remember that the Storm King Art Center is beautiful in all weather conditions. Sculptures have different charms when seen in bright sunlight, in the soft light of a cloudy day, or even in the changing light of a slight rain. Every weather condition gives a different character to the works and adds new dimension to the outdoor visual experience.
