Cornwall Main Street
Park along Main St. (it’s unmetered/unlimited as you move east toward Hudson St and Rings Pond). Relax by the pond in Riverlight Park and cross the road to see the historic Sands Ring Homestead Museum. On Wednesdays, there’s also a Farmers’ Market in the Town Hall lot. Walking west along Main Street, you’ll pass shops like the Cornwall Yarn Shop and MOD clothing. Stop to eat at Prima Pizza, The Farmhouse Market, Cornwall Sweets, Kanda House Thai Kitchen, Fiddlestix Café, Cielito Lindo Mexican Restaurant, the Canterbury Brook Inn, and Cornwall Coffee Co & Mercantile. Note that some shops are closed Sundays.

Hiking Trails
If Storm King’s 500 acres isn’t enough, put on your hiking shoes for some great hikes with spectacular views. The 2,000 acre Storm King State Park features Storm King Mountain (the Art Center’s namesake) and fabulous views of the Hudson River, the Catskills, Bannerman’s Island, and Newburgh Bay.
Want to see Storm King from a different angle? The founder of Storm King Art Center helped protect the beautiful ridgeline of Schunnemunk State Park (now over 2,700 acres) in the 1980s. With eight marked trails and over 20 miles of hiking, the Jessup Trail takes hikers to three stunning views of Storm King Art Center, the Hudson River, Storm King Mountain, and the Catskills.
