Art+Nature+You: Spring Workshop for Teens: POSTPONED
1:00pm — 4:00pm
In support of initiatives to control the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), Storm King’s Art+Nature+You: Spring Workshop for Teens on April 4 has been postponed. The health, safety, and well-being of our staff, visitors and neighbors are always our top priority.
Please check back for updates and information as we continue to closely monitor the evolving health situation both locally and worldwide. Visit stormking.org/health for more info and updates.
Join us for a hands-on workshop with artist, educator, and scientist, Hara Woltz. Spend the afternoon at the Art Center. Try out a variety of drawing and collage materials as you create your own mini field notebook. Learn more about Storm King’s history, collection, and landscape. Refreshments served! Free and open to all teens but RSVP is required. E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org if you plan to attend.
Hara Woltz is an artist and scientist who addresses the destruction and conservation of ecological systems through a variety of visual media. Field research is integral to the creation of her work, and her solo and collaborative projects investigate the relationships between humans, the environment, and other living organisms. She has taught summer camp at Storm King for the last seven summers. Most recently, her work, Vital Signs (2018), was on view in Storm King’s 2018 exhibition Indicators: Artists on Climate Change.
