SUMMARY:Children & Families: Chandelier Poems
DESCRIPTION:\n\nMake a Chandelier Poem inspired by Liz Glynn's Open House. 
 Participants are encouraged to develop a list of words and phrases reflect
 ing the installation and then attach them into a cascading three-dimension
 al form. This program will be led by Mala Hoffman.\n\n\n\n 	Program locati

 \, no registration required\n\n\n\n\nMala Hoffman is a poet and educator w
 ho lives in Gardiner\, N.Y. Her work has appeared in the Village Voice\, C
 hronogram\, Awosting Alchemy\, Literary Gazette and edna \, among others. 
 Her poetry collections include Half Moon Over Midnight (Paper Kite Press)\
 , A Year of Wednesdays(Finishing Line Press)\, Becoming Bubbe (The Poet’
 s Haven)\, and A History of Place (Finishing Line Press).She is also the c
 o-author\, with her daughter Lucy Moran\, of Dispelling the Shadow: Activi
 ties Exploring Life and Death with Young People (Routledge). Her most rece
 nt work is How to Live with Ghosts\, published by Bottlecap Press in 2025.
 \n\n\nACCESSIBILITY\n\nTerrain and Getting Around\nChildren &amp\; Family 
 programs generally take place on grass\, just off of a paved path. The pro
 gram location is about 1/4 mile from the entrance along mostly level paved
  paths.\n\nRestrooms\nAccessible\, single-occupancy restroom stalls are lo
 cated in the Outdoor Lobby\, near the entrance. Portable restrooms\, inclu
 ding an ADA stall\, are located near the Outdoor Café\, Museum Hill\, and
  in the South Fields near Storm King Environmental Field Station.\n\nASL i
 nterpretation\, and Assistive Listening Devices with T-coil capabilities 
 are available upon request at least two weeks in advance. Every effort wil
