Children & Families: Birding for Beginners
How do we identify birds? Is it by silhouette, color, sound, or flight? Join an educator from the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum to learn about spotting local aviators. Please note that this is a walking tour which will cover about a 1/2 mile distance.

Founded in 1959, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum is a center for nature, with a focus on environmental education as a mission to develop responsible caretakers of the natural world. Over the years it has developed quality educational programs for students and the public that focus on the unique ecology of the Hudson Highlands and promote knowledge and appreciation of our natural world.
