Amy Lewis Sweetman’s 2016 Children and Families program at Storm King.
David Smith’s outdoor sculptures often frame the surrounding landscape. Using natural, found, and recycled materials, create your own frame with the artist and AGRISCULPTURE founder Amy Lewis Sweetman.

AGRISCULPTURE is Farm Equipment – Lovingly Rethought. It was born with passion for agricultural forms, and vision for seeing beyond rust and time. Hudson Valley native Amy Lewis Sweetman founded AGRISCULPTURE in 2012 with a metal fountain commission from Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Sullivan County, and has been working in agrisculptural transformation ever since! With a degree in Architecture from Cornell University and a certification in Welding, all Amy’s AGRISCULPTURES are original works, thoughtfully hand-crafted on the Sweetman Dairy Farm of Warwick, NY. Amy has lectured on AGRISCULPTURE at Cornell University 5 times over the past 5 years, and creates AGRISCULPTURES for both indoors and out. From candlestick collections and mirrors to custom installations, fountains and sculptures, Amy has served over 50 types of businesses in these first 5 years! AGRISCULPTURES have been featured at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair as well as in magazines, newspapers, websites, blogs, radio and film. When Amy is not in the barnyard shop welding with her husband Douglas Sweetman, she’s out scouting for farm equipment or giving workshops.
