Children and Families: Young Explorers
Try out SKAC’s new Field Guide for Young Explorers with its creator, environmental artist Hara Woltz.

- Suggested age range: ages 6 and up
Hara Woltz is an environmental artist, scientist, and activist. Utilizing a variety of media, she addresses aspects of the destruction and conservation of ecological systems. Through her work, she reveals patterns, connects disciplines, and examines interactions between humans and the environment. For the last three years, Hara has co-taught Storm King’s summer class, The Art of Scientific Observation: From Microecology to Monumental Sculpture.
