Hara Woltz is an environmental artist, scientist, and activist. Utilizing a variety of media, she addresses aspects of the destruction and conservation of ecological systems. Through her work, she reveals patterns, connects disciplines, and examines interactions between humans and the environment. For the last three years, Hara has co-taught Storm King’s summer class, The Art of Scientific Observation: From Microecology to Monumental Sculpture.

Family programming is supported by the Cynthia Hazen Polsky and Leon B. Polsky Fund for Family Programs and The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation.
