SUMMARY:Children & Families: Foraging for Shadows
DESCRIPTION:\n\nJoin us in the Meadows for our last Children &amp\; Familie
 s program of the season! For this program\, we'll be collaborating with th
 e shadows found around the landscape from trees\, tall grasses\, rocks\, a
 nd more! Participants will trace overlapping shadow sketches "foraged" aro
 und the program area\, and then add color using watercolor or colored penc
 ils to create an abstract composition. This program will be led by Mikayla
  Spierer.\n\n 	Program location: Meet near the Outdoor Cafe\n 	Suggested a
 ge range: all ages\n 	Free with admission\, no registration required\n\n\n
 \n\n\n\n\nMikayla Spierer is a mixed media artist and educator based in B
 rooklyn\, NY. Her sculptural work explores the intersections of organic an
 d constructed forms\, material transformation\, and the body. As an educat
 or\, she utilizes embodied exploration and map making to engage students i
 n the ever-evolving questions of where we are.\n\n\n\n\nACCESSIBILITY \n\n
 Terrain and Getting Around\nThe tour will take place on grass\, just off o
 f a paved path. The program location is about 1/4 mile from the entrance a
 long mostly level paved paths near the Outdoor Café.\n\nRestrooms\nAccess
 ible\, single-occupancy restroom stalls are located in the Outdoor Lobby\,
  near the entrance. Portable restrooms are located close to the program lo
 cation off a level gravel path at the Outdoor Café.\n\nASL interpretation
 \, and Assistive Listening Devices with T-coil capabilities are available
  upon request at least two weeks in advance. Every effort will be made to
