Kristin Roeder is an educator and teaching artist committed to inclusive, learner-directed education and inquiry. Kristin has devoted nearly twenty years to developing and facilitating studio and gallery explorations at the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Storm King Art Center, and multiple other inspiring institutions. The programs and resources that Kristin develops strive to ignite active engagement among individuals, objects, processes, and environments. Her extensive training with the Institute for Inquiry informs her teaching, learning, and creative process. Whether facilitating wire-working workshops for teens, dissecting flowers with teachers, or welding steel letters for her own artwork, Kristin is genuinely excited to follow the expansive pathways of curiosity, reflect in their synapses, and invite others to join and shape that process along with her.
