Experience Storm King’s winter landscape through the eyes of an explorer! Move through Storm King’s winter landscape with nature-based cooperative games. Learn how plants and animals adapt to survive in the winter ecosystem. Led by Evan Miklos.
- Program location: Meet in North Parking
- Suggested age range: all ages
- Winter Weekend programs are approximately 45 – 60 minutes and take place outdoors, so please dress warmly and wear comfortable boots/shoes. Free with admission, no registration required.
Evan Miklos is a life-long explorer of the Hudson Valley and loves nature adventures of all kinds. He has two decades of experience as an outdoor educator and has been an early childhood and science teacher at Randolph School for 13 years. He is co-creator of the Creek Scouts afterschool program, which focuses on cooperative team building, field ecology, Native American culture, and wilderness survival skills.
