Participants will then be guided through creating their own Storm King-inspired pop-up structures. Members receive a complimentary coffee from 10-11AM at the Storm King Café.
Open to all Members.
Shelby Arnold, a graduate of Pratt Institute, has been designing pop-ups since she joined Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart’s acclaimed paper engineering studio in 2007. She has worked on many pop-up books, including the Encyclopedia Prehistorica series, Matthew Reinhart’s “DC Super Heroes, the Ultimate Pop-Up Book”, Robert Sabuda’s “America the Beautiful”, “Beauty & The Beast”, “The Little Mermaid”, “The Dragon & the Knight”, “The White House”, and many more. She has also engineered pop-up greeting cards for Robert Sabuda’s MoMA and Up With Paper lines, and has most recently been partnering with him to create a crowdfunded project called “Mysterious Cases”, a series of immersive mystery stories contained in puzzle boxes.
