Breakfast and Bach

Visit and explore the grounds and galleries during non-public hours during Storm King’s Member Morning.

9:15-10am: Breakfast and Bach. Enjoy a relaxing Sunday morning with Daniel Frankhuizen, who will be performing selections from Bach’s Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello. Meet on the patio behind the Museum Building.
10-11AM: Members receive a complimentary coffee from at the Storm King Café.

Open to all Members.

Daniel Frankhuizen has performed throughout the United States and abroad as a soloist, chamber musician, and in several pop groups. He has served as principal cellist for the Empire Chamber Orchestra and the Opera in the Ozarks Festival Orchestra. Daniel is also cellist of the Orvieto Piano Trio, a group that has performed classical piano trio literature throughout the United States, Canada, and Italy. In 2014 the Orvieto Piano Trio released a recording of works by Mendelssohn, Smetana, and Piazzolla. During the summer of 2016, Daniel will be recording an album of his own compositions as well as premiering new opera works at Chinquapin Center for the Arts in Oregon.
