Public Program: Reception for Ilopango, the Volcano that Left @ Hudson River Maritime Museum

Celebrate the Kingston, NY arrival of the sculpture Ilopango, the Volcano that Left by Beatriz Cortez at the end of its first day traveling up the Hudson River with a welcome reception at the Hudson River Maritime Museum. The reception is at capacity, but free viewing is available at the Riverfront Marina in Kingston.
- The sculpture is expected to arrive along the Rondout waterfront at approximately 5:00PM.
- Light refreshments served.
- Learn more about the journey Ilopango, the Volcano that Left will take up the Hudson River.
The volcano’s journey is presented in partnership with EMPAC–Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Vera List Center for Art and Politics at The New School.
