Health & Safety

Storm King Art Center is committed to the health, safety, and well-being of our staff, visitors, and community. In support of initiatives to control the spread of coronavirus, Storm King’s site will remain closed until further noticeAll upcoming events and programs through May 31 have been postponed, including the May 9 Exhibition Opening Celebration & Member Reception.

All group visits through May 31 are canceled. Canceled group bookings will be refunded and may be re-booked later in the season. In recognition of this challenging time, we have also suspended our no-refund policy for groups booked through July 1 who no longer wish or are unable to attend.

During this uncertain time, we believe that engagement with art and nature is more important than ever and we are exploring ways to make our 500acre site open to the public in a way that allows our staff, visitors, and community to be safe.

We will continue to monitor the health situation as it evolves and follow recommendations from the New York Department of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO). All updates and schedule changes will be posted to this page, our online calendar, and Storm King’s social media accounts (InstagramFacebook, and Twitter). We look forward to welcoming visitors to Storm King soon.

In the meantime, we invite you to explore our permanent collection online, discover hidden treasures in the Archivesand view our Oral History Program.
