FAQ: Beacon Shuttle

Where do I meet the shuttle?
Please meet the shuttle in the Beacon Station parking lot. A digital or printed copy of your ticket is required to board the shuttle.

What is the train schedule?
The Metro-North Hudson Line schedule is available on the MTA website, please select your departure station and Beacon as the destination. Your Metro-North ticket must be purchased separately. Please plan your trip to allow plenty of time for shuttle pickup and return.

How long is the shuttle ride?
Approximately 30 minutes (13 miles).

I missed my shuttle. Will my ticket be accepted by the next shuttle?
No. Tickets are only valid for the times you have selected. For alternative transportation, please use Uber, Lyft, or local taxi services.

What’s the refund policy?
You may reschedule your package, arrival, or departure time by contacting us at least 24 hours before the arrival time listed on your e-ticket. Rescheduling is limited to dates and times currently available on the website and tickets may only be rescheduled once. Storm King does not offer ticket refunds.

Are children allowed in the shuttles? Can children ride on laps of passengers?
Children 5 and up are permitted on the shuttles and must have their own ticket. The shuttle provider requires that children be able to sit unaided in an adult seat and may not sit on laps of other riders.

Are shuttles accessible?
Shuttles are either a 24-passenger or 56-passenger coach bus, with steps 5-6 inches from the ground. They are not able to accommodate wheelchairs. Uber, Lyft, or local taxi services available from Beacon Train station may be able to accommodate wheelchairs.

Are service animals, emotional support animals, or pets allowed?
Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted on the shuttle or at Storm King. Visitors with emotional support animals or pets will be refused entry. Visitors may be accompanied by service animals qualifying under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Are bikes allowed?
No. Personal bikes are not permitted on the shuttle or at Storm King.
