Join us for an Archtober tour to learn the inside story of Storm King’s capital project,  led by WXY architecture + urban design. Witness how this project restored five acres of former parking lots into meadows, a stream, and outdoor exhibition space, while prioritizing the experience of art in nature. Then, get a behind-the-scenes look at Storm King’s new state-of-the-art David R. Collens Conservation, Fabrication, and Maintenance building.

• Tickets are for the tour only. If arriving earlier than 3:30pm, please purchase separate admission to Storm King online or at the ticket pavilion upon arrival.

ACCESSIBILITY
Terrain and Getting Around
The tour will take place across varied terrain including paved paths, gravel paths, and mown lawn. Expect to cover 0.5 to 1 miles on the tour.

Assistive Listening Devices
The tour leader and attendees will be connected through assistive listening devices.

Accessible Cart Service
An accessible golf cart may be requested to assist with moving between locations during the tour. Service is available on a first come, first served basis. Please make a request in advance by emailing info@stormkingartcenter.org.  The cart can accommodate up to five visitors sitting in seats; or one wheelchair-using visitor with up to three additional passengers in seats. The weight capacity for the ramp is 650lbs.

Restrooms
Accessible restroom stalls are located at the Restroom Pavilion, near the entrance.

ASL interpretation for guided tours is available upon request two weeks in advance. Every effort will be made to honor requests made with less notice.
