Tickets are currently available for visits through June 26. Reserving advance, timed-entry tickets is strongly recommended to guarantee entry at your preferred time. Onsite tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Members enjoy free, ticketless admission any time during open hours.

Ticket Release Schedule
Tickets are released in two-week blocks on Wednesdays at 12PM.
  – Tickets for visits June 28–July 10 will be available on June 7
  – Tickets for visits July 12–July 24 will be available on June 21
  – Tickets for visits July 26–August 7 will be available on July 5
  – Tickets for visits August 9–August 21 will be available on July 19
  – Tickets for visits August 23–September 4 will be available on August 2

General Admission Pricing
Ticketing is per-vehicle. Please choose your ticket based on the total number of passengers (children under 5 do not need to be counted). Ticket entry times are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking: General Admission tickets include onsite parking. We are unable to accommodate vehicles larger than a standard parking space. 

Additional passengers: If you already have a General Admission ticket and need to add a passenger to your vehicle, please contact Visitor Services by calling 845.534.3115. Pricing is $23 per person. 

Members

Members may visit without an advance reservation, any time during open hours. Simply show your digital membership card at the admissions booth to receive your free Member admission.

First Fridays: Free Admission Day

All visitors receive free admission to Storm King on the first Friday in June, July, and August. Enjoy late summer hours (7:30PM close), food and drinks, and fun activities for all ages.

Tickets

Advance timed-entry tickets are strongly recommended to guarantee entry. Tickets are released one week prior to the date at 12PM.

Public Transportation
Free shuttles will run hourly from the Newburgh Public Library. No registration is required for the shuttle. Library pickups at 10AM, 11AM, 12PM and 2 – 6PM. Storm King departures on the half-hour. The final return shuttle will depart Storm King at 7:30PM.

Beacon Shuttle (Weekends Only)

Beacon Shuttle service will resume on Saturday, May 20. Tickets must be reserved in advance. This ticket package includes discounted admission to Storm King and shuttle transportation to/from the Beacon Metro-North train station.

Shuttle Schedule
The Beacon Shuttle is available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays. Select your preferred shuttle times on the ticket page. Shuttle ride is approximately 30 minutes. If arriving by train, please purchase your Metro-North tickets separately.

Enhanced Experience Package

Our popular Enhanced Experience Package is now available for spring visits!

This ticket package includes admission at any time during opening hours, with reserved parking on Museum Hill, and a tote bag filled with goodies from the Museum Store. Available for visits through May 31.

Each group of two people receive a tote bag featuring a design inspired by Zhang Huan’s Three-Legged Buddha, a Storm King Sculpture Guide highlighting the artworks in our collection, a Sibley’s Guide to Birding, and binoculars. In addition, the tote includes a bird call, a cloud spotting notebook, a Storm King magnet, a bag of Bjorn Qorn popcorn, and Boxed Waters for each person in your group.

 

 

Discounted & Free Admission Tickets

Storm King is pleased to offer discounted General Admission tickets to the following visitors. Free admission discounts may be used once per day, per person. To reserve tickets using these discounts, please submit the Free Admission Request Form >

– Qualifying members of Modern and Contemporary Reciprocal Program museums (Mod/Co)
– American Association of Museum (AAM) Members

– Staff of other museums

Up to 6 People per Vehicle FREE:
– Friday, November 11: Veterans and their family
– Active military and their family via the Blue Star Program (May 20–September 4 only)
– SNAP participants/EBT cardholders via Museums for All (visit the FAQ on Museums for All website)
– Storm King Partner School students, families, and educators
– Members of The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (Family level+)

Care Attendants: Admission is free for a care attendant accompanying a visitor with a disability. Please call ahead to reserve your tickets.

Library Membership Passes

The Library Membership program provides a free Membership Pass for patrons of participating libraries to visit Storm King Art Center. If your local library participates in the Library Membership program, contact them to check out a Membership Pass the same way you would check out a book. A Library Membership Pass grants free admission for one 6-person car per day. Advance ticket reservations are not required for library patrons with a valid Library Membership Pass.

Group Visits & Tours

Storm King welcomes groups from schools, universities, non-profit and community groups, businesses, and tour operators with advance reservations. Group reservations are required for 12+ people arriving in a single vehicle, and groups of any size arriving in an oversized vehicle (van, bus).

All group visit requests must be submitted at least three weeks in advance. Availability is limited and we recommend planning ahead, especially for visits in mid-September to mid-November.

Ticket Policy: Refunds and Rescheduling
You may reschedule your visit date or arrival time by contacting us at least 24 hours before the arrival time listed on your e-ticket. Rescheduling is limited to dates and times currently available on the website and tickets may only be rescheduled once. Rescheduling may require additional payment depending on day and ticket type. Storm King does not offer ticket refunds.
