Children & Families: Woven Harvest Paper Weaving

Lean in the autumnal energy! Join us in weaving pouches and baskets from natural fibers and paper to take home. This program will be led by Marcela Torres.
- Program location: The Meadows, near the Outdoor Cafe

Marcela Torres was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and currently resides between Brooklyn, NY and Chicago, IL. Their nomadic energy keeps them traveling between homes and families, visiting lands they have ritual responsibilities with. Torres holds a BFA & BA from the University of Utah, a MFA in Performance from School of the Arts Institute and is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Visual Art at SUNY Old Westbury in Long Island, New York.

Terrain and Getting Around
The program location is on mostly level, mown grass in the Meadows.
Restrooms
Accessible, single-occupancy restroom stalls are located in the Outdoor Lobby, near the entrance. Portable restrooms, including an ADA stall, are located near the Outdoor Café and can be accessed via an accessible gravel path.
ASL interpretation, and Assistive Listening Devices with T-coil capabilities are available upon request at least two weeks in advance. Every effort will be made to honor requests made with less notice.
