Event

Hike through the fields, forest, and sculptures of Storm King in search of mushrooms, guided by experts from the New York Mycological Society. Then channel your observations in a hands-on creative workshop. Registration required.

The New York Mycological Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising public awareness, appreciation and knowledge of fungi in New York City and beyond.

ACCESSIBILITY
Terrain and Getting Around
The tour will take place across varied terrain including hills, wooded areas, paved paths, gravel paths, and mown lawn. Expect to cover 1 to 1.5 miles on the tour.

Accessible Cart Service
An accessible golf cart will be on hand to assist with moving between locations during the tour. Service is available on a first come, first served basis. The cart can accommodate up to five visitors sitting in seats; or one wheelchair-using visitor with up to three additional passengers in seats. The weight capacity for the ramp is 650lbs.

Restrooms
Accessible, single-occupancy restroom stalls are located in the Outdoor Lobby, near the entrance.

ASL interpretation, and Assistive Listening Devices for guided tours are available upon request at least 7 business days in advance. Every effort will be made to honor requests made with less notice.
