About the Guide: Adela Goldsmith is Assistant Curator at Storm King Art Center, a 500-acre outdoor museum located in New York’s Hudson Valley. Since 2021, Goldsmith has supported the Art Center’s presentation of temporary exhibitions and site-specific permanent commissions, as well as contributed research and writing to the Martin Puryear: Lookout catalogue and the Storm King Art Center Sculpture Guide. For Storm King’s 2026 season, Goldsmith has co-curated Anicka Yi: Message from the Mud, the artist’s first large-scale installation outdoors, and organized Liz Glynn: Open House, which presents the artist’s public sculpture in the natural landscape for the first time. Goldsmith received a degree in Art History with a concentration in Museum Studies from Smith College. Previously, Goldsmith has held curatorial internships at the Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, the Whitney Museum for American Art.
