Event

Come enjoy a rare after-dark event at Storm King! Members are invited to lay out a blanket on our South Fields and enjoy the starry night at a new moon when everything will be at its most visible. There will be an astronomer or two on hand to answer questions and to explain what we’re seeing to anyone who’s interested, or feel free to lie back and enjoy the show.

• Free for Members, registration is required. Guests limited by Member level.
• There will be a short walk in the dark to and from the fields. We will light the paths and also ask you to sign a waiver when you arrive.

AMENITIES
Visitor amenities such as the Outdoor Cafe, Bike Rentals, and Tram Loop will not be available during the event.

ACCESSIBILITY
This event will take place in Storm King’s South Pavilion, a 10–15-minute walk from the site entrance. The conversation will be amplified as needed. If you require assistance to the South Pavilion, please let us know your access needs at membership@stormkingartcenter.org.

Restrooms
Accessible, single-occupancy restroom stalls are located in the Outdoor Lobby, near the entrance.

Terrain and Getting Around
The viewing area will be a field a short walk from the parking lot. The walk will be on concrete road, gravel path, and mowed grass.
