Young Explorer Backpacks
Young Explorer Backpacks are a resource for children and families to use during their visit to Storm King Art Center. Each backpack contains a variety of navigational and observational tools, as well as self-guided activities that help young visitors explore the landscape and sculptures. Borrowing a backpack is free and intended for children of all ages.
- The backpacks are available at Mark Dion’s Storm King Environmental Field Station (2019) located at the base of the elevator in the South Fields.
- Backpack supply is limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
- One adult must sign out each backpack on the sign-out sheet.
- Backpack rentals are for a maximum of 2 hours and must be returned to the Field Station.
