Join artist Mikayla Spierer for an all-ages, drop-in workshop exploring image transfers and collage on natural surfaces inspired by Outlooks artist Dionne Lee.

Mikayla Spierer is a mixed media artist and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Her multi-dimensional installations and sculpture incorporate photography with natural and synthetic materials to explore illusions of nature and the strange relationship between our environment and the material imprint on our landscapes. As an educator, she utilizes embodied exploration and map making to engage students in the ever-evolving questions of where we are.
ACCESSIBILITY
Restrooms
Accessible portable restroom stalls are located near the South Picnic area. There is about 120 ft. of level, mown grass between the paved pathway and the restroom enclosures.
Picnicking
Wheelchair accessible picnic tables are located in the South Picnic area. There is about 30 ft. of mostly level, mown grass between the paved pathway and the picnic table.
Terrain
The program location is on mostly level, mown grass in the South Fields.
Shade and Seating
These programs are often under or near a tent. Depending on the program, participants may work at tables or move into the grassy field. Nearby trees provide a shady place to spread out. Folding stools are available.
