Join us for a special after-hours walking tour of Minimalist and post-Minimalist art on view at Storm King led by Adela Goldsmith, Storm King’s Assistant Curator. This tour will highlight new-on-view works by Sol LeWitt and Ellsworth Kelly, putting them in conversation with works from our permanent collection by Anthony Caro, Mark di Suvero, and Richard Serra.

• Free for Members, registration is required.
• Guests limited by Member level.
• Tour will meet at the Outdoor Lobby and will depart at 6:00 PM. Please arrive early to allow time to check in.

About the Guide: Adela Goldsmith (Assistant Curator, Storm King) is an independent art scholar and curator, who graduated from Smith College with a BA in Art History and a concentration in Museum Studies, wherein they completed a project which examines the relationship between the development of museums’ permanent collections and archival documentation. <

They have held curatorial internships at the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art at the Brooklyn Museum, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, as well as an archives internship in artist Cass Bird’s studio, and was a Junior Assistant at the Center for Curatorial Leadership.

Visitor amenities such as the Outdoor Cafe, Bike Rentals, and Tram Loop will not be available during the event.

Accessible, single-occupancy restroom stalls are located in the Outdoor Lobby, near the entrance.

Terrain and Getting Around
The tour will take place across varied terrain including hills, wooded areas, paved paths, gravel paths, and mown lawn. Expect to cover 1 to 1.5 miles on the tour.

ASL interpretation, and Assistive Listening Devices for guided tours are available upon request at least 7 business days in advance. Every effort will be made to honor requests made with less notice.
