Schools & Teachers
School and Teacher programs offer inroads for understanding more about modern and contemporary art in a multisensory and multidisciplinary context. We offer a wealth of opportunities for students and teachers to experience the outdoor sculpture and landscape of the Art Center, both onsite and in the classroom.
Teacher Resources
Storm King Art Center is pleased to offer five teaching resources for exploring ideas and artworks. Whether you have chosen a guided tour or will be facilitating your own visit, these resources offer pre-visit ideas to prepare for your trip, tips and tools for onsite engagement, and post-visit activity prompts for continued exploration.

Teacher Resources for the Virtual Classroom
Storm King Art Center is pleased to offer two virtual teaching resources for exploring ideas and artworks.
These teacher guides provide prompts, resources, and information to be used in conjunction with digital slideshows. By focusing on a theme within Storm King’s collection, we hope to engage your students in conversation, close looking, and activities that can support your visual art, language arts, science, and social studies curricula. We hope to welcome your students to build on these explorations during a future visit to Storm King. Thanks for joining us in bringing Storm King into your virtual classroom!
